Each monthly meeting consists of announcements where we update members on chapter business such as new members, outreach plans, educational opportunities and more, a show-and-tell area where we display our finished projects, and a program where we teach a technique, design or method. The monthly projects are optional, and are usually small, inexpensive projects intended to teach a technique which members can use on other projects. We love all kinds of embroidery, and we strive to offer programs in a variety of techniques.
We also hold several stitch-ins each month at various locations around the Louisville area, which are open to the public. Anyone is welcome to bring their own stitching and join the fun. See the calendar of events for details.
The Louisville chapter is part of the Tennessee Valley Region of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, a 501(c)3 organization.
